The LEO Literary Journal Issue One Launched February 2023; Issue Two Launched July 2023; Issue Three Launched December 2023; Currently Accepting Submissions For Issue Four Forthcoming March 2024.
Currently seeking poetry, prose poetry, photography, visual art, short stories, personal essay and memoir submissions for our fourth issue due to launch March 2024. There is no theme. Send us real, raw, authentic, vulnerable. What keeps you up at night. What you are celebrating. What drives you. What lights you up in an exceedingly dark world.
Open to anyone affected by incarceration (i.e., you or an Immedient family member), addiction, human trafficking, domestic violence and/or sexual assault, who identifies as a woman. Must be 18 years of age or older. There is no theme. While we hold space for women writer's affected by incarceration, addiction, human trafficking or domestic violence your work isn't required to explore that. Please don't feel like you need to trauma perform on our behalf. We want to read what you are excited to write about, whatever that theme or genre is. Please send up to 5 pages of previously unpublished (this includes social media and blog posts) work in a .doc or .docx Word Document to [email protected] and be sure to include a short 3rd person writer bio and any social media links you want included.
Include the genre/genre's of your submissions in the email subject title. There is no submission fee. We are not a paid market at this time. Simultaneous submissions are fine, but please notify us if your work is accepted elsewhere. Submissions for March 2024 issue are due by Feb 15th 2024.
